Built in 2002, Bay Tree Cottage has undergone extensive renovations with brand new fixtures and furnishings. These have added an extra level of comfort to the cosy, stonewall cottage. Bay Tree Cottage’s owner, Susan, is passionate about the local area, and on hand to assist you with anything you may need.

The best meal of the day is breakfast and it is something that Bay Tree Cottage does well. For those who enjoy fresh fruit and the smell of warm pastries, Bay Tree Cottage can bring a delight to your door.
With locally sourced ingredients, Bay Tree Cottage offers a breakfast basket with three courses. A starter of yoghurt from the Clandeboye Estate, homemade pecan and almond granola, fresh berries and freshly-squeezed orange juice. Homemade wheaten with local butter and some of Susan’s prized jam or freshly baked croissants can follow. Finally, a sweet treat can be included because everyone deserves decadence on holiday.

Bay Tree Cottage is owned by Susan and Willie. Locals of Hillsborough, they strive to share the incredible landscape of the area and introduce you to the unique village of Hillsborough.
Opening their doors in 2017, Bay Tree Cottage lets people relax in luxury, while feeling right at home. Susan and Willie live in the cottage adjacent to Bay Tree and are able to assist with any queries that you may have.
Susan is a passionate cook and is happiest in the kitchen. She makes food a central part of the Bay Tree Cottage experience and can offer a number of bespoke food packages to relieve cooking duties from those who perhaps do too much of it at home.
